About

Within the university my responsibilities are split 0.7 in the Institute of Sport and 0.3 University wide.

In the Institute of Sport, I teach undergraduate and postgraduate research methods and statistics, with responsibility for the coordination of Level 7 modules. I offer statistical support to PhD students and to staff as required as well as to some colleagues in St Richards and Queen Alexandra Hospitals and beyond.

Across the wider university community, I have joint responsibility for staff development in the areas of learning and teaching as well as responsibility for some elements of quality monitoring and policy development in Learning and Teaching.

I am programme leader for the Advance HE accredited Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and the University Certificate in Learning and Teaching which are taught programmes for early career academic and support staff. In addition, I mentor and act as an internal assessor for the Advance HE accredited FHEA and SFHEA by CPD routes.
